TERMS OF SERVICE (TECHNICAL VERSION) – SITIOSS.COM

The website https://sitioss.com/ is a service owned and operated by Outlets Colombia LLC, a company registered in the State of Florida, United States (hereinafter “SITIOSS.COM”).

By accessing or using any service, the Client agrees to these Terms of Service.


1. GENERAL TERMS

SITIOSS.COM reserves the right to modify, update, or remove any provision of these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.

These Terms apply to:

  • Shared Hosting
  • Reseller Hosting
  • VPS
  • Dedicated Servers
  • Domain Registration
  • Streaming services
  • Any future services

2. CONTENT POLICY

2.1 Prohibited Content

Strictly prohibited:

  • Terrorism-related content
  • Hate speech
  • Child exploitation (immediate termination, no refund)

Adult content is allowed if legal.

Client is fully responsible for all hosted content, including third-party access.


3. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)

3.1 Illegal Use

Servers may only be used for lawful purposes.

Prohibited:

  • Copyright violations
  • Pirated software
  • Hacking tools
  • Fraudulent activities
  • Unauthorized system access

SITIOSS.COM is the sole authority determining violations.


3.2 Security Violations

Includes:

  • Unauthorized access attempts
  • Network scanning
  • Flooding / DDoS attempts
  • Packet/header forgery

Violations may lead to civil and criminal liability.


3.3 Server Resource Abuse

If a service exceeds allowed resources:

  • Client must upgrade to VPS/Dedicated
  • Or reduce usage

SITIOSS.COM determines acceptable limits.


3.4 Prohibited Services (Shared Hosting)

  • IRC servers / bots
  • Torrent trackers
  • Proxy services
  • Background daemons
  • Executable software (.exe, .dll)

3.5 Multimedia Storage Abuse

Accounts using more than 70% for storage (non-operational files) may be flagged.


4. DOMAIN POLICY

4.1 Registration

  • Domains registered after payment confirmation
  • Minimum term: 1 year
  • No reservations

Client is responsible for:

  • Accuracy of data
  • Legal rights over domain

4.2 DNS

  • Auto-configured if purchased with hosting
  • External domains must update DNS manually

4.3 Expiration

  • Grace period: up to 10 days
  • Redemption period: up to 30 days
  • Redemption fee may apply (~$100 USD)

4.4 Transfers

Requirements:

  • Active status
  • No locks
  • EPP/Auth Code
  • Valid contact email

5. BILLING AND PAYMENTS

  • Services are prepaid
  • Late payments → suspension
  • Reactivation fee may apply

Accepted:

  • Credit/Debit
  • Electronic payments

5.1 Additional Charges

Extra usage (storage, bandwidth) → additional billing.


6. CANCELLATIONS

Client:

Must notify 10 days before renewal

Company:

May suspend or terminate for:

  • Violations
  • Abuse
  • Non-payment

7. REFUNDS

Refunds only apply if:

  • Service is not delivered

No refunds for:

  • Violations
  • Early cancellation
  • Add-ons (SSL, domains, etc.)

8. RESOURCE USAGE (TECHNICAL LIMITS)

Shared Hosting Limits:

  • CPU: max 20% per account
  • RAM: max 10% per account
  • Apache connections: max 30
  • MySQL connections: 15
  • FTP/SMTP/POP3: 15 each
  • Emails: 350/hour/domain
  • PHP memory limit: 128MB
  • Database size: max 300MB
  • Query execution: max 30 seconds

8.1 Inodes

  • 100,000 → excluded from backups

  • 250,000 → risk of suspension


8.2 Cron Jobs

  • Minimum recommended interval: >10 minutes
  • Excessive automation may be disabled

8.3 VPS (OpenVZ)

Processes:

  • VPS1: 180
  • VPS2: 220
  • VPS3: 260
  • VPS4: 300

RAM:

  • VPS1: 1536MB
  • VPS2: 2048MB
  • VPS3: 3072MB
  • VPS4: 4096MB

CPU:

  • Guaranteed: 700MHz
  • Max: 850MHz

8.4 VPS (KVM)

  • Dedicated resources
  • No shared limitations

8.5 Bandwidth

  • Based on monthly allocation
  • Overage billed per Mbps

9. EMAIL POLICY (ANTI-SPAM)

Strictly prohibited:

  • Unsolicited email (UCE/UBE)
  • Purchased mailing lists
  • Misleading headers

Requirements:

  • Double opt-in lists
  • Clear consent records

Violation → immediate suspension.


10. BACKUPS

Shared Hosting

  • Backups provided but not guaranteed

VPS / Dedicated

  • Client responsible for backups

SITIOSS.COM is not liable for data loss.


11. TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Available:

  • 24/7 (ticket, chat, phone)

Includes:

  • Server issues

Not included:

  • Development
  • Custom coding

Paid support:

  • $75–$150/hour

12. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

SITIOSS.COM is not responsible for:

  • Data loss
  • Service interruptions
  • Indirect damages

Client is responsible for:

  • Security
  • Content
  • Account usage

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of all services provided by Outlets Colombia LLC, operating under https://sitioss.com/ (“SITIOSS.COM”).

By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of services without prior notice.

All services must be used:

  • Lawfully
  • Responsibly
  • Without negatively impacting other users, systems, or networks

SITIOSS.COM reserves the sole right to determine what constitutes a violation.


2. PROHIBITED CONTENT

The following content is strictly prohibited:

  • Copyright infringement
  • Pirated software or media
  • Fraud, scams, phishing

🚫 High-Risk Content

  • Malware, ransomware, viruses
  • Hacking tools or exploit kits

🚫 Sensitive Content

  • Child sexual exploitation (zero tolerance – immediate termination)
  • Terrorism-related content
  • Hate speech or incitement to violence

⚠️ Adult Content

Allowed only if:

  • Legal in applicable jurisdictions
  • Does not involve minors or illegal activities

3. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

3.1 Network Abuse

  • Unauthorized access to systems
  • Port scanning / vulnerability scanning
  • Interception of traffic
  • IP spoofing

3.2 Service Disruption

  • DDoS attacks
  • Flooding or traffic overload
  • Resource exhaustion attacks

3.3 System Abuse

  • Running unauthorized daemons
  • Background processes that degrade performance
  • Excessive CPU / RAM usage affecting others

3.4 Hosting Restrictions (Shared Hosting)

Not allowed:

  • Torrent trackers or clients
  • Proxy servers (open or anonymizing)
  • IRC servers/bots
  • File distribution platforms (large-scale downloads)

3.5 Storage Abuse

Accounts may not be used for:

  • Backup repositories
  • File storage unrelated to website operation
  • Excessive multimedia storage (>70% of usage)

4. EMAIL & ANTI-SPAM POLICY

🚫 Strictly Prohibited

  • Unsolicited bulk email (spam)
  • Purchased email lists
  • Email harvesting

✅ Requirements

  • Double opt-in subscription lists
  • Verifiable consent records
  • Clear unsubscribe mechanism

Limits (Shared Hosting)

  • Max 350 emails/hour/domain

Violation may result in:

  • Immediate suspension
  • Blacklisting reports
  • Permanent termination

5. SECURITY VIOLATIONS

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Attempting to bypass authentication
  • Exploiting vulnerabilities
  • Unauthorized system probing
  • Any attempt to compromise infrastructure

SITIOSS.COM will cooperate with law enforcement when required.


6. RESOURCE USAGE ABUSE

Clients may not:

  • Consume excessive CPU, RAM, or bandwidth
  • Impact server stability
  • Degrade service for other users

Actions may include:

  • Temporary suspension
  • Forced upgrade
  • Service limitation

7. THIRD-PARTY ABUSE

Clients are responsible for:

  • All activity under their account
  • Actions of their customers, users, or systems

This includes:

  • Reseller clients
  • Sub-accounts
  • API integrations

8. ENFORCEMENT POLICY

SITIOSS.COM may take any of the following actions:

  • Warning notification
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent termination
  • Data removal
  • Legal reporting

Severity depends on:

  • Impact
  • Intent
  • Recurrence

9. ZERO-TOLERANCE VIOLATIONS

Immediate termination without notice:

  • Child exploitation content
  • Large-scale spam operations
  • Active cyberattacks
  • Severe abuse affecting infrastructure

10. REPORTING ABUSE

If you detect abuse, report it to:

11. LIABILITY

SITIOSS.COM is not responsible for:

  • Damages caused by user violations
  • Third-party misuse

This AUP may be updated at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
